This year’s event saw drifting, racing and stunts during the day. Come nighttime, the event turns into a whole different animal, with modified cars taking to the venue adding a whole new meaning to nightlife.
With an event this huge taking place in Europe, it’s expected for SuperPro to be one of the sponsors.
One of the highlights of this year’s event was the live modding of an ordinary stock boggo 1.6 EK Civic VTI into a real weapon on the tracks, courtesy of the lads from Buddy Club Racing. The challenge was to turn a granny wagon into a legitimate race car build, ready for the racetrack. But doing this in over a week’s time would’ve been too easy—hence, why the challenge had to be completed in 3 days.
SuperPro had the honor of sponsoring the Live Mod Event, and we took the position of providing Super Pro suspension parts for better handling and grip during races.
Other modifications included a bolt-in roll cage, struts, a Momo Steering wheel and bucket seat, harnesses by D2 Racing, an FEV Fire System, lighter race wheels, Miller Oils, Competition Clutch and of course, cup holders (how could any mod build not have that?). Toss in the race styling body mods, graphics and sponsor decals, and what resulted was a modified beast waiting to hit the races.
Watch out for more of SuperPro at next year’s Ultimate Street Car.
